Cathy was born in Tampa Florida and moved to Brevard County in 1984. She attended Hillsborough County Schools and graduated from C. Leon High School. Since 1991, Cathy has own and operates Peachtree Assistant, a bookkeeping service in Brevard County. Cathy has worked with various businesses and industries in the Brevard County.

Cathy is an accomplished dancer and has a deep love for music and passing on the traditions of original American music. She has raised 2 daughters and has been active in the Melbourne High School Crew Club as treasurer for the last 4 years and volunteers for Apple Corps since 1991.
