AWARENESS
E.A.R.T.H. is comprised of entertainment industry professionals, musicians, artists, actors, environmentalists and generally anyone who loves the arts, children,
and the earth. We are dedicated to the preservation of creative outlets and natural experiences for the youth of Central Florida. We Sincerely Need Your Help!.
Music art and drama programs in the schools have been decreased by 50% in the last few years, some schools have no music or arts programs at all. Creative minds
need these programs to expand their horizons and to grow into well rounded individuals.
Our Mission:
- Promote quality family time in a natural setting with an annual festival of music, art, drama, education and fun.
- Raise funds to help implement a direct-to-teacher classroom supply program for art, music, drama programs in the Central Florida schools, and to assist other
art and youth programs that benefit Florida children.
- To provide lasting memories of fun and educational arts experiences.
- Teach youths how to come together to make a difference in their community.
- Help save creative programs in the schools and communities for youths.
- Preservation of American roots music and passing on these musical traditions of Jazz, Blues, Gospel and Appalachian folk music to the next generation.
E.A.R.T.H. supports young creative minds with several E.A.R.T.H. Awareness youth programs. "Student Band Bashes" on Saturday nights quarterly are held at Surfside
Playhouse, this allows teens a safe and fun way to hang out with their peers. An annual "High School Drama Competition" where area schools are eligible to
participate to win cash for their Drama Programs. A "Judged Student Art Show" is part of the annual Space Coast Jazz & Blues Festival, where students win cash and
art supplies. In addition, students vie for new guitars contributed by Musicorp for our "Guitars Not Guns" program at Teen Talent Competitions. In 2004 - 2005 we
hope to implement our Stephen Miller Memorial Blues In The Schools Program for the elementary schools.
E.A.R.T.H. is completely supported by contributions from the community and all contributions are tax deductible. All proceeds donated to E.A.R.T.H. are used to
enhance the lives of creative young minds and for E.A.R.T.H. Awareness Youth Arts Programs. We are run by a volunteer board of directors who give countless hours
to make this dream a reality.
